National Business Development Manager

About the role

As National BDM you will be expected to support the Head of Sales to achieve the company’s annual new business target with the primary focus of identifying, qualifying, and converting new sales opportunities and maintaining the required minimum gross margin.

You will report directly to the Head of Sales.

Day to Day Expectations

  • Drive sales and business goals to meet and exceed targets.
  • Attend Monthly Sales Meetings during the first week of each month and provide accurate information to the Head of Sales.
  • Present accurate sales to the Head of Sales on a weekly update form.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to drive sales and network with new clients.
  • Attend client meetings and offer support and/or guidance as and when required by the client or business.
  • Communicate with clients, sub-contractors, and the Senior Management team for the most effective completion of works.
  • Liaise with other departments, including finance and operations, to ensure budgets, margins and profitability are achieved and to meet department goals.
  • Demonstrate the correct attitude in line with the company core values.

Details:

Full-time | Monday – Friday | Salary of up to £40,000 per year | Driving License required

    It is important that we all work towards the highest service delivery and meet the requirements of our role in the business. Your key measures of success will be:

     

    • Meet or exceed your annual revenue targets
    • Ensure your CRM records are up to date and accurate.
    • Report to Head of Sales; with sales breakdown won in previous month, new sales forecasts for coming month and quarter and any issues preventing sales and sales margins
    • Carry out deal reviews with the Operations team.
    • Demonstrate and reinforce core values at every opportunity.
