While we’re not talking about making your team trained engineers, we can help bring your people up to speed about what to look out for in water systems.
The latest ACoP L8 guidance places increased emphasis on the organisational need to get everyone involved in managing the risk posed by legionellosis and Legionnaires’ disease.
That’s why we offer bespoke water hygiene training and legionella training to our clients. Get your on-site staff and management team up to speed and fully aware of the risks associated with legionella. When they understand the risks, they can be more vigilant in the day-to-day management of your water systems and will know when they need to call us in for a legionella risk assessment or for further assistance!
How it works
Our courses are designed to provide staff with a practical understanding of Legionnaire’s disease. These courses can be hosted at our Landywood Lane site, accommodating up to 20 people at one time. We aim to equip your team with the understanding and knowledge required to effectively manage your sites.
We tailor each legionella risk assessment course to your people, helping to teach your team exactly what they need to know, always keeping it relevant to your specific building’s needs. Not only this, but our courses can be done either digitally, or in person. However your people learn best, we’ll change our approach to suit.
Educate your team on the signs of legionella and other water hygiene issues, letting them know exactly what to look out for when working their day-to-day jobs.
Should your team want to take a more hands-on approach, we offer practical, task-based training that covers taking your water temperature, basic cleaning duties and more, meaning that you can take control of your internal water hygiene processes.
We’ll run through the nitty gritty with those who need to know, teaching them exactly why water hygiene is so important, how bacteria proliferate and key things to look out for.
We’re here to impart wisdom, provide knowledge and give your people the tools they require to succeed. That’s why we’ll take the time to run through the history of our industry and outline what each individual’s responsibilities are in your organisation, helping to create a culture of water hygiene awareness across your organisation.
We hold accreditations from the The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and the City & Guilds Group, meaning that you can rely on our skills and expertise to deliver training that’s memorable, effective and easy to understand.
No matter whether we’re teaching a beginner or someone who’s been working in water hygiene for years, we understand your requirements and know exactly how to best utilise your time.
