About the role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertake monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of the Legionella Control Program in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Previous experience of working within L8 guidance and Cleaning and Disinfection of water systems is required
• Conduct monitoring inspections which will involve temperature testing of water outlets. TMV’s , inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection and showerhead disinfection
• Carry out inspections which will be undertaken using a Tablet and web based electronic log book system
• Responsible for self based delivery of a range of water hygiene related services in accordance with current legislation
• A good working knowledge of cooling systems, closed systems and hot and cold water systems is desirable

Essential:

• Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance materials (ACoP L8, HSG 274 , Water Regulations)
• Full UK Driving License

Details:

Full-time, Permanent | Salary: £20,000.00-£27,000.00 per year | Willingness to travel 25% (required)

Schedule:
