The H2O Team are beyond proud to have won the Express & Star’s ‘Young Business of the Year 2018’ award. Our hard work and incredible journey, (so far), was acknowledged by the judges and we came home with an award on 7th June to show for it!
H2O Hygiene are the 2018 winners of the Express & Star “Young Business of the Year” category. The judges referenced that they were particularly impressed by the hard work and efforts to achieve industry accreditations, including LCA (Legionella Control Association), Avetta membership and Alcumus Safe Contractor certificates.
In their own words, the staff said, “H2O Hygiene Ltd is the creation of our MD, Tom Davenport. In April 2017, Tom took a huge gamble starting his own business, with a baby to provide for and being the sole earner he had to ensure the gamble would pay off. He converted an office space in his garage and started with a van, laptop, mobile phone and lots of contacts who trusted Tom and were willing to support his new venture. After countless hours worked to get the business off the ground, today H2O Hygiene is a successful business specialising in water safety. We offer services such as legionella risk assessments, monitoring contracts, water treatment, water hygiene, sampling and legionella control, plumbing and mechanical solutions for water systems, including complete water tank replacements.
We are a proud family run business and we have an extremely passionate team with over 60 years combined experience behind us. We continue to offer the very best levels of customer service and provide professional cost-effective solutions tailored to meet our customer requirements. With our thorough and trustworthy service, our clients are confident that their water hygiene and safety is in safe hands. Having worked in the industry for over 13 years, Tom was able to identify opportunities where H2O Hygiene could set themselves apart from the competition. One example was to remove the need for handwritten reports by investing in robust CRM and project management tools and our clients’ feedback has been extremely positive so far. We have invested heavily in our staff training programme and have worked tirelessly to achieve our industry accreditations, including LCA (Legionella Control Association) and Alcumus Safe Contractor certificates. We are striving to become the best water hygiene company within the water industry and are excited to see what the future holds for us.”
